How to track your tasks

I have started writing in a journal a while ago, I must say though it was or still is hard for me to do it daily. Most of the time I just forgot about it, didn’t know what to write or was just too lazy to do it. On some days I was extremely motivated to note pretty much everything into the journal. I wanted to document all of the things in my life that I often forget after time. And on other days I didn’t write about anything. After a while, I realized I had to change the way I write things down. It would have to be easier and faster, so I would do it more often without that big of an effort.

an example of a Tracker

I went on Pinterest and looked up “bullet journal ideas”, I found a lot of ideas that really helped me. I found the tracker system, with a chart, on top you can write down every day of the month and on the left side you can fill in every task you want to keep track of. This way you can easily make a cross on the day you did a certain task. Let’s say you don’t want to always know when you water your plants and not forget about it. You can just write that down and always make a little cross when you do water your plants, this way you definitely won’t forget it and can always keep track. You can use this tracker for all kinds of things in literally every situation.

You can also keep track of your feelings. For example, if you are really emotional on that day or just are in a sad mood you can write that in a row of your chart. This way can easily make a cross whenever you’re feeling that way. I have a lot of migraines, I like to keep track of when I have which symptoms.

Maybe this tip could help you to write in a journal more often too. If you have more tips on this topic let me know in the comments below.
